All the training courses and consultation packages that ECEC provides to the pre-school teachers and other interested trainees are price tagged: there has to be enough money to cover the running costs and the salaries of the teacher trainers. Although the prices of our training packages are very reasonable, there are schools and individuals who are unable to pay for it.
Fortunately, ECEC has been able to make contracts with some donors who help to provide those poor schools the opportunity to get training and consultation as well. Such projects consist of complete package: Training for teachers, follow up and monitoring with evaluation visits, educating (counseling???) the School Management Committee and the parents, help with the purchasing of teaching aids, and where applicable, support in furnishing the early childhood departments’ classrooms.
The major projects ECEC is doing presently are:
Norwegian Himal Asia Mission
