The core trainers

Mr.Rajendra  Bhattarai of Dhankuta expressed their gratitude to ECEC saying that the training  they received  from ECEC has helped them a lot. The parents’ seminar has helped the parents to understand child development and has learnt the ways of dealing with the children. The training has given a deep insight to the facilitators of the district about teaching small children. The core trainers and the teachers were able to make parents understand that reading and writing is not only important for the children rather preparation of lifelong skills is more important.

Sarita, one of the trainers from Tanahu says that they were able to give training (after they received training from ECEC) to the facilitators in Tanahu. The impact of the training was so good that the political parties and the other officers of the districts were impressed as well.

The trainers from Rasuwa gave five days training to the new facilitators. The training was so interactive that the participants were never felt bore or tired. The teachers of the districts have learnt the importance of doing interactive teaching/child centered learning

Training at HVM (North in the KTM valley)

Rojee says “I am working as a teacher because I did not get other opportunity but after taking Step 1 course from ECEC in HVM I have decided to take teaching as my profession. I have learnt about child development and ways of dealing with different children. My mother said that I have started to speak softly after I have started to take training otherwise I am the kind who speak in a loud voice all the time. Thank you ECEC.”
